Following God’s Call
Always the editor, I hone my wordsmith skills while grammar-spotting in the wilds of urban cities, rural towns, or anywhere else with advertisements, restroom signs (true story, Womens’ and Mens’), and restaurant menus.
And, yes, for twelve years I was paid to wield a red pen (red text on the computer screen), unburdening sentences of dangling modifiers, recasting verb tenses to ensure smoothness throughout a section, and offering suggestions for clarity of expression. One day, I hope to unleash these powers on fiction titles if God deems it part of my path.
For now, I follow God’s call to write devotionals, a journey leading to publication on websites such as The Life, Love Lines From God, and Inkspirations Online. Given God’s call, not to mention my penchant for travel and photography, I fill my website with photos and posts on travel, often offering a biblical connection. I even post words of affirmation for writers and editors, hoping to ignite confidence in myself and others.
